Fourth of July Events Around Scottsdale

FireworksThe Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. Not only is it the time to celebrate the independence of this great country but it is also a time for picnics, grilling, family and fireworks. While it is warm in the Valley in July there are many ways to still enjoy the celebrations and family fun.

Here is a list of 10 Places to see fireworks in the Valley and below are a few of my favorites. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy, celebrate and be safe.

Scottsdaleā€™s Fourth of July – At Westworld Friday, July 4th 2014 from 2-9:30pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $5 for residents and all children under 6 are free. The beauty of this event is that all of the activities are in the indoor facilities at Westworld followed by fireworks just outside on the expansive grounds. Should be a lot of fun. Here is the link for more info.

Tempe Town Lake Fireworks – Always a favorite in the Valley it will feature a family-fun zone, Splash playground and a rock wall. It should be a lot of fun. Fireworks will begin at 9:15pm and tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the gate with all military personnel and children under 12 free.

Fabulous Phoenix 4th – Takes place at Steele Indian School Park and will feature local musicians, food and drink and 16 inflatable and water rides in the kids zone. The best part of this event is that it is totally free.

All of us here at Around Scottsdale wish you a very happy Fourth of July!
