Now is the time that the Christmas tree comes down, the holiday comes to an end and the new year begins. So, what do you do with that old tree anyway? Recycle it, of course.
Scottsdale’s citywide Christmas Tree Roundup is the week of January 6-11, 2014 so have your stand, ornament and light free tree curbside by 5am Monday, January 6th, 2014 and the City of Scottsdale will collect it for you.
Here is a map to see what day of the week your neighborhood is scheduled for pickup.
However, if getting the tree down and out to the street is too much this week. You can drop off your tree on Saturday, January 11th from 7am to 2pm at two different locations:
- Scottsdale Ranch Park, 10400 E. Via Linda, Scottsdale (Map link)
- Eldorado Park, 2311 N. Miller Road, Scottsdale (Map Link)
All the trees collected will be turned into compost or mulch.
